Exciting News!

The exciting news is that over the last few weeks I have been in discussions about the adaptation of Benedict's Brother into a film. I've been invited all-expenses paid to Cannes Film Festival this year and major publishers have now approached me about the rights to the book. I am now represented by Julian Friedmann of BlakeFriedmann Literary, TV and Film Agency, one of the country's leading agencies. I will be chatting about these and other exciting developments and doing a reading at a Literary Afternoon Tea I am hosting on 7th June at the Queen's Hotel, Bournemouth. I will be in the bar at The Queens Hotel (drinking tea!) on the following mornings. Do join me for a chat - about about your work or mine or to ask any advice you feel I can offer. It's very informal and I'd love to see you. I'm planning to work on some of my current writing while I'm there too.

First Outing for New Work in 3 years!

I had great fun reading my new work for the first time in 3 years at Poole Literary Festival in November. I'll be posting a review of the event soon . . . needless to say a good time was had by all!

Reader's Choice

By far the most favourite passage for readers in Benedict's Brother seems to be "Monks on Motorbikes". I LOVED writing it!. Do let me know your choice via the forum pages..
